Please read these terms before accepting the entry acknowledgements or submitting an enquiry. You can read this page without accepting the entry prompt.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to use of the FATCNT website and enquiries and orders made through it. Contact us at orders@fatcnt.com. By selecting the second entry acknowledgement, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the research-only purpose of the catalogue.
2. Age and research use
You must be 18 or over to enter this site or submit an enquiry. All products are offered for lawful laboratory research purposes only. They are not supplied for human or animal consumption, self-administration, clinical treatment or personal weight management. Website information is not medical advice. You are responsible for ensuring you have the facilities, competence and permissions required for your research and for handling, storing and disposing of materials safely and lawfully.
3. Product information
Specifications and prices are shown in the catalogue. Product information does not guarantee a particular research outcome or establish suitability for a particular experiment. Please ask us to confirm any specification or availability you need before paying. If we discover an error affecting your enquiry, we will contact you before proceeding.
4. Enquiries and orders
Provide your full name, email address, postal address and selected products and quantities accurately. Complete the security check to submit your enquiry. The email order summary includes the product breakdown, postage and payment information. An automated acknowledgement or order summary confirms receipt of your enquiry; it does not by itself confirm stock availability or acceptance of an order. We will confirm acceptance and availability by email. If we cannot fulfil a paid order, we will offer a refund for the unavailable items or an alternative only with your agreement.
5. Prices, postage and payment
Prices and totals are in pounds sterling. Postage is £3.00 per order as shown in the emailed summary. The amount payable, including any applicable charges, will be shown before payment. Payment information is sent by email, including our PayPal link. Please use your enquiry reference number or full name as the payment reference and keep your enquiry reference for future questions. A PayPal payment is not a guarantee of immediate dispatch.
6. Delivery
Distribution is from the United Kingdom. We will confirm delivery arrangements and any estimated timescale by email before accepting your order. Please contact us promptly if a delivery is missing, damaged or incorrect. For consumer orders, goods remain our responsibility until they reach you or a person you nominate to receive them.
7. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Contact orders@fatcnt.com with your reference or full name to request cancellation or report a problem. Where consumer distance-selling cancellation rights apply, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods and have a further 14 days to return them after notifying us. We will provide return instructions. You pay the direct cost of returning unwanted goods; we cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. Eligible refunds include the standard outbound delivery charge and are made through the original payment method within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. We may deduct for handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of goods, where the law permits. Any statutory exception applies only where legally applicable and explained before purchase. Nothing here removes rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
8. Your information
We use the information you submit to respond to enquiries, prepare order summaries, arrange payment and delivery, and address order questions. We also store your enquiry in the shared FATCNT/Synzilla order and stock-management system to manage availability and fulfilment. The form uses FormSubmit for submission and email delivery and its security checks; PayPal processes payments. Do not send payment-card details through the enquiry form. 9. Website use and responsibility
Do not submit false information, spam, harmful code or attempts to disrupt this website. We may refuse enquiries for unlawful or incompatible uses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Changes and questions
We may update these terms for future use and orders. The terms agreed when an order is accepted apply to that order; later changes do not retrospectively alter it. Email orders@fatcnt.com with any questions or complaints. These terms do not prevent you from using any court or remedy available under applicable law.
